Swedish Water House invites Swedish actors interested in dialogue, collaboration, and international engagement on water to connect with us.
Please contact Thomas Rebermark, Director Swedish Water House.
Established in 2003, following a Swedish government commitment, to strengthen Swedish and International cooperation on water, Swedish Water House (SWH) is a nationally anchored platform, within Stockholm International Water Institute.
By bringing together actors from science, policy, business, and civil society to support collective action for safe, equitable, resilient, and accountable freshwater management, SWH connects Swedish actors, across all sectors, with global water governance and international policy processes.

Swedish Water House works as a bridge between Sweden and the global water community. We mobilize Swedish expertise and perspectives in international processes, while at the same time bringing global developments back to Sweden to inform dialogue, decision-making, and practice. This two-way role allows Swedish actors to engage more strategically with international water and climate agendas, and to better understand how global processes shape national priorities.

As a platform, Swedish Water House provides neutral and trusted spaces for exchange and collaboration. Through seminars, dialogues, advisory support, and collaborative formats, SWH helps Swedish actors navigate complex water-related issues, build relationships across sectors, and identify opportunities for cooperation.

Together, these functions make Swedish Water House a central connection platform for Sweden’s water community, linking national expertise with global agendas and ensuring that international water governance is both informed by and relevant to Swedish actors.
